Original title: Europe's "gas shortage" and Britain's "oil shortage", the energy crisis continues to ferment, but China has reaped significant benefits!
Recently, the European energy crisis continues to ferment, and the impact of natural gas shortage continues to expand.
According to reference news, with the recovery of all countries' economic recovery from COVID-19 and pushing up wholesale electricity prices, the benchmark natural gas prices in Europe have surged over 300% this year due to low storage level and high demand.
In addition, the "oil shortage" in Britain is becoming more and more serious. Many gas stations have to shut down because they can't meet the supply demand, and there are even knife quarrels in some places. The British government even decided to send military vehicles to solve the "fuel emergency" - up to 150 military tanker drivers are on standby and will increase supply to gas stations that have run out of fuel.
At the same time, there was "good" news from China.
On September 30, CNOOC announced the discovery of oil and gas fields with reserves of more than 100 million tons in the Bohai Sea.
Discovery of 100 million ton oil and gas fields in Bohai Sea, China
According to CCTV finance and economics, on the 30th, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) announced that Kenli 10-2 oilfield, another large-scale oil and gas discovery in the Bohai Sea, was approved by the Ministry of natural resources. The proved geological reserves of crude oil exceeded 100 million tons, further consolidating the reserve foundation of China's offshore oil and gas resources and improving the stable production of offshore oil and gas fields It is of great significance to ensure national energy security.

Kenli 10-2 oilfield is located in the southern Bohai Sea, about 245km away from Tianjin, with an average water depth of about 15.7m. The discovery well Kenli 10-2-4 encountered a total of 27m oil layers, and the completed drilling depth is 1520m. After testing, the daily crude oil production of a single well in the oilfield can reach 810.55 tons.
Xu Changgui, general manager of CNOOC exploration department, said that the successful discovery of Kenli 10-2 oilfield broke the situation that the shallow layer of Bohai oilfield depression had never been found in 100 million ton lithologic oilfield, showed the broad prospect of lithologic oil and gas reservoir exploration in Bohai Sea, and had important guiding significance for the exploration of similar basins.

Following the discovery of Kenli 600-100 million ton oil field in early 2020, CNOOC explorers quickly evaluated Kenli 10-2 structure in the south of Kenli 6-1 oil field based on successful experience.
Kenli 10-2 structure is located in Laizhouwan depression of Bohai Sea. After more than 40 years of exploration, the exploration of structural reservoir is becoming more and more difficult, and the discovered reservoir scale is becoming smaller and smaller, which has no commercial value. At the same time, according to the traditional understanding, the shallow and deep strata in Laizhouwan sag are mud rich sediments, and the oil and gas in the deep underground are blocked by the strata of different lithology, just like "covering a lot of thick quilts", which can not migrate and accumulate to the shallow layer. For many years, the exploration of lithologic oil and gas reservoirs in this area has not made a breakthrough.
Faced with many unfavorable factors, based on solid basic research, explorers boldly innovated exploration ideas and put forward a new reservoir forming model of Neogene lithologic reservoir. Under the guidance of the new idea, the explorers gradually found out the enrichment law and exploration direction of oil and gas reservoirs. After one year's evaluation, Kenli 10-2 oilfield, a large lithologic reservoir, has been successfully discovered in the shallow layer of Laizhouwan sag.

According to Xu Changgui, there are many oil fields in production around Kenli 10-2 oilfield, such as Kenli 10-1 and Kenli 10-4. The development facilities are relatively complete. It is expected to see full production in 2025, contributing to the production of 40 million tons in Bohai oilfield.
European energy crisis continues to ferment
According to reference news, Reuters reported in Brussels on September 28 that EU leaders will discuss the soaring energy prices at their meeting next month. Governments are trying to ease the pressure of rising natural gas and electricity prices for their people.
With the recovery of all countries' economies from COVID-19's attack, the wholesale electricity price has been pushed up. So far this year, the benchmark natural gas prices in Europe have surged over 300% due to low storage level and high demand.
According to a draft summit agenda seen by the reporter, the leaders of the 27 EU Member States will discuss the soaring energy prices at their next meeting from October 21 to 22.
EU countries are responsible for formulating domestic energy policies, and some governments have taken action. France has provided one-time energy subsidies to poorer families, while Greece is planning to provide subsidies to help families bear higher bills.
The report said that some governments called on the EU to take more coordinated response measures - Spain sought to reform the EU's power market, and warned that high energy bills could undermine public support for the EU's climate change policy.
According to the global times, at present, as many as 90% of gas stations in major cities in Britain have declared that fuel has been sold out.
Worried that they could not buy fuel, many gas stations lined up for miles, and many British people had to wait for hours to refuel their cars. Some people tried to jump the queue and follow the tanker into the gas station. Many gas stations have to shut down because they can't meet the supply demand. There are even knife quarrels in other places.
A man with a knife quarreled with a car owner while waiting in line at a gas station in welling, London, the Daily Mail reported on the 28th. According to the live video, as soon as the man with the knife came to the front of the car, the owner immediately started the car and pushed the man with the knife onto the engine cover of the car. The man quickly dodged, but fortunately he was not injured. In addition, people angry because of the queue began to beat the gas station security guard, which finally turned into a scene of more than a dozen people wrestling on the ground.
Affected by the shortage of fuel supply, many industries in the UK have fallen into the dilemma of "no oil available", including the medical staff of the British National Health Service (NHS). British trade unions have warned that if health care workers do not have access to fuel, patients in hospitals will be seriously affected. In addition, children's school has also become a big problem. A British father named Adam said that they had to walk home because the car was short of oil, and the children were unable to go to school because their home was too far away from school and lacked other means of transportation. Adam said, "if you have fuel in your car's fuel tank, don't queue up." many people also appealed that if you can buy fuel as usual, there will be no such problem.
