On July 21, the reporter learned from China Railway Kunming bureau group that after six years of hard work, the huajiaopo tunnel of Lijiang Shangri La railway was successfully connected.
Huajiaopo tunnel is located in Hutiaoxia Town, Shangri La City, with a total length of 7.5km and a maximum buried depth of 460m. The surrounding rock of the tunnel is mainly schistose basalt, carbonaceous slate and phyllite. Seven faults are developed in the tunnel, and the integrity of the surrounding rock is poor. In addition, the groundwater is developed and affected by weak surrounding rock and high ground stress, so the construction is facing great challenges.
Since the commencement of construction in May 2015, the West Yunnan Railway Construction Headquarters has organized the construction unit to scientifically organize, carefully plan and reasonably allocate resources in accordance with the requirements of Kunming Bureau Group for the construction of Lixiang railway with high standards, high quality, high quality and high efficiency, breaking through the construction problems such as large deformation of soft rock, fault mud inrush and water inrush. After the successful completion of huajiaopo tunnel, it will be transferred to the construction of ditch, cable trough, ballastless track bed and other ancillary works.
The total length of Lixiang railway is about 140 km. After it is completed and opened to traffic, Diqing will end the history of no railway. It is expected to arrive in 4 hours from Kunming to Shangri La( Reporter Hu Xiaorong (correspondent Hao Yafan)
